Raven’s ideology solidifies Raven as a mainstay in Glamour Media. Raven is universal, showcasing the field of glamour modeling through the eyes of both the model, photographers and the subscribers.

What is Glamour Modeling?

We are receiving a lot of emails regarding what we look for in a model and about The Glamour Modeling Industry! Glamour Modeling is becoming the most popular genre in modeling. For years fashion/runway has dominated the industry limiting and often hindering a lot of models from accomplishing their lifelong dream of being a model, but now times are changing. Glamour is on the move and it’s even found its way on network TV. This season on Tyra Banks “America’s Next Top Model” the contestant’s chosen to compete must meet the height requirement of 5’7 which we all know is a far cry from fashion and runway’s 5’11 to 6’0 and taller height mandatory. We decided to post a short list that we hope will help you get a better understanding of the Glamour Modeling Industry.

1. Glamour Modeling is 5'2 to 5’10 and features beautiful models with curves.

2. Glamour is made up of four categories swimsuit, lingerie, and glamour fashion and implied. The other types of modeling are editorial, runway and high fashion. People often incorrectly classify the four types of glamour as their own style of modeling and also include glamour as a form of modeling. Glamour is a genre of modeling that consists of the four styles listed above!

3. Have professional pictures taken! This is glamour we like to review images that we can use to get an idea of what your potential could be. Get in touch with a glamour photographer and book a photo shoot. You will not only gain pictures for your portfolio you will also gain experience shooting with a top glamour photographer. If you were an athlete you wouldn’t try out for a team without practicing first. Make sure you get headshots, full body shots, smiling images, sexy images and a profile shot. Also make sure you know your measurements (For example 34C 24 35)
